Typically a database developer works in the backend programming coding stored procedures, triggers, queries and works with programmers and developers in providing the database side of the project deliverable.Database Administration Database Administrators, typically called DBAs manage creation and maintenance of Databases of an entity. Their work is generally involved with day to day maintenance of the databases, making sure that the databases are meeting the expectations of the projects. They make sure performance of queries is within the expected range and provide new instances of the database as required by the project requirements.Enterprise Resource Planning ERPs like SAP and Oracle Apps are providing a lot of job opportunities in the current market.
